Strike is a high energy drumming group made up of New Zealand's most outstanding percussionists, specialing in movement-based, choreographed percussion.

Pacific, classical and contemporary musical influences, combined with a movement and theatre-based presentation, make STRIKE unique in the world of percussion music.

On the stage, in arts festivals, street events, and at more intimate corporate events STRIKE has created its own "classical crossover" audience extending their understanding of percussive-based music and movement.

Founded in 1993, STRIKE has worked with leading New Zealand composers, composed its own pieces and collaborated with other musicians and groups from dancers to symphony orchestras.
